Who is Silver Group Purchasing?

We provide purchasing services to Extendicare homes as well as senior's facilities from Quebec to British Columbia.

Silver Group Purchasing has in place national contracts for goods and services necessary for day-to-day operations including food, clinical supplies, office supplies and products, equipment and furnishings.

As well our contracts particularly in furniture, fixtures and equipment can be utilized for new build opportunities.

Where is your head office?

Silver Group corporate office is in Markham, ON, our Eastern Regional office is in Markham, ON, and our Western Regional office is in Edmonton, AB. Our parent company Extendicare (Canada) Inc. is Canadian-based and located in Markham, ON as well.

How is your menu developed?

Silver Group's team of dietitians using CBORD software develops menus specifically for each province that we serve. The menu strives to reflect the specific needs of your province.

Silver Group has the ability to design custom menus for clients.

Is your program flexible?

Silver Group programs were designed to be flexible. We recognize that each operation is unique, as is each province. We work with you to develop practical, customized programs.

What kinds of field support do you bring clients?

Along with our own field support staff regularly working with our clients, we organize special events on a regional basis. These include: Supplier/Educational Days, Menu Planning Days, Healthcare Days and Food Shows. All of the Silver Group field events include the participation and support of our partner Suppliers and Distributors.
